In a news story Thursday (“BU meager in energy efforts: prof.,” page 1), several inaccuracies were stated. Professor Cutler Cleveland did not state students have wasteful lifestyles, but instead said “average” students have increased their use of energy. Cleveland also did not personally submit a report to the president and provost as reported, but a committee he was a part of submitted the report. The provost responded to the committee in a letter. Also, about 25 students attended the discussion, and not the reported 65. The Daily Free Press sincerely regrets the errors.
