Boston University recently announced that they’ve added Portuguese language courses to the College of Arts and Sciences curriculum. On that note, here are some other classes we’d like to see.
Another language course, Meninoese, would be beneficial for Political Science students who may need to translate mayor Menino’s speeches.
In light of recent safety breaches at the BU medical campus’s Biosafety Level-2 lab and with the Biosafety Level-4 lab on the way, a course called Suicideology would help students figure out how to handle an Ebola outbreak.
COM should offer a Self-Esteem Colloquia to journalism students, in the offchance that they get shunned by important politicians at election night parties.
An elective titled Personal Object Management would teach careless students the values of not leaving their expensive things unattended in public places on campus.
The College of General Studies may consider starting to offer. . . actual classes.
Of course it doesn’t matter to The Daily Free Press staff which new classes BU starts offering, because we’d probably just skip them to get more sleep.
