The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from Nov. 8-12.
BUPD received a report of threatening phone messages left on a BU vice president’s office voicemail at the John and Kathryn Silber Administrative Building at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 8.
Customer Service
BUPD responded to a customer dispute at the George Sherman Union at 12:54 p.m. Nov. 8. BUPD removed the customer and issued a trespass warning.
Robbery Gone Bad
BUPD responded to a robbery and an assault and battery at the 7-Eleven in Kenmore Square at 1:50 a.m. Nov. 8. Suspects were arrested by the Boston Police Department for stealing items and assaulting the clerk.
A Painful Facial
A caller reported a female party fell and injured her face in front of the Campus Convenience store at Sleeper Hall at 12:46 a.m. Nov. 11. She was taken to Boston Medical Center.
Short-Changed
A caller reported a quarrel between a cab driver and a BU student on 610 Beacon St. at 4:25 a.m. Nov. 11. The male party paid his balance, and the dispute was resolved.
BUSted wheels
A BUPD officer checked on a group skateboarding in front of the 575 Commonwealth Ave. residence at 1:27 a.m. Nov. 9. They were ordered to leave.
Gimme Shelter
An unwanted person attempting to seek shelter from the cold at Warren Towers was removed and warned by the BUPD at 10:33 p.m. Nov. 8.
Cane Man
A BU Theatre manager reported a male party with a cane was causing problems at the 264 Huntington Ave at 7:17 p.m. Nov. 8. BUPD removed the man from the premises.
Too Sleepy to Argue
BUPD received a call at 3:23 a.m. Nov. 12 from a male party requesting an officer to check on his girlfriend living at 726 Commonwealth Ave. The two were arguing over the phone when her line went dead. BUPD arrived at her apartment and found her. She had fallen asleep during the argument.
No Time to Argue
A caller reported a female and male in a verbal altercation in front of the Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences building at 12:41 a.m. Nov. 10. The two were separated and warned.
The First Rule of Fight Club
A caller reported three individuals received facial injuries from a fight on 275 Babcock St. at 2:26 a.m. Nov 12. All three refused to file a police report and refused medical attention.
Screwed OVEr
BUPD assisted Facilities Management crew cleaning up screws and washers that were dumped on the street between Buick Street and Harry Agganis Way at 2:02 p.m. Nov. 9.
