The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from Sept. 14 – Sept. 18.

Report of student with suicidal thoughts at Warren Towers

A Warren Towers resident assistant reported on Thursday at 12:48 a.m. that a student had expressed suicidal thoughts and exhibited concerning behavior. The Armstrong Ambulance Service was notified and the student was transported to the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center with a police escort.

Disorderly person at Jamba Juice

BUPD received a report on Friday at 12:40 p.m. of a man inside the 700 Commonwealth Ave. Jamba Juice location who was causing a disturbance and refused to leave.

Bomb threat to Boston airport

BUPD received four calls on Saturday, the first at 12:36 a.m., from someone who claimed to be planning to bomb an airport the next day. The caller did not reveal which airport, but did say he was in Boston and that he had been drinking. The Massachusetts State Police at Logan International Airport were notified, along with the Commonwealth Fusion Center, a governmental agency that manages terrorism responses.

Syringe found near School of Theology

BUPD received a report on Monday at 10:37 a.m. of a syringe found at 745 Commonwealth Ave. The syringe was disposed of in a sharps container.
