Boston University announced Thursday it will pursue an “external review” of the Athletics Department’s policies and practices and addressed resurfacing “concerns” regarding former women’s soccer coach Casey Brown. The review will examine the department’s policies and “resources for support and care” as well as how the department prevents, responds to and follows up on complaints from athletes.
Ninety-nine former Boston University women’s soccer players and coaching staff signed a statement in support of former head coach Nancy Feldman amid allegations of sexual harassment, according to a letter obtained by The Daily Free Press.
Alex Cooper, host of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast and a 2017 Boston University alum, alleged “systemic” harassment is ongoing from the coaching staff of the BU women’s soccer program.
Podcaster and BU alum Alex Cooper said in her new documentary “Call Her Alex” she was sexually harassed by her coach during her three seasons playing BU women’s soccer.
