With the America East top spot on the line Thursday night, the Boston University women’s basketball team saw itself in a familiar spot: down early on and looking to rally.
This time, however, the Terriers were unable to come back with a win, falling to rivals University of Hartford 52-44 in Case Gym.
BU (9-8, 5-0) entered the game fresh off a huge 73-64 victory over No. 24 University of Vermont, their first ever win over a ranked opponent. The win put them tied atop America East with the also red-hot Hartford Hawks (14-3, 5-0), winners of seven straight.
The start of the match could not have gone any worse for BU, with Hartford x00x00x00’x00x10++x00x00x00’x00x00x00x00x00x00″xd8
