A cyclist was the victim of a hit-and-run Friday afternoon on Commonwealth Avenue across from Marsh Chapel.
Courier Ryan Cahill said he was trying to do his delivery job when he was struck from behind by an automobile and forced into a jersey barrier.
Cahill said the driver threatened him before continuing East, though he was too flustered to answer many questions after being hit.
Boston Police Department officers spoke to Cahill, who said he was hit in the lower back, according to BPD Media Relations.
Cahill, whose injuries were minor, assured police he did not need an ambulance, though an ambulance and two fire trucks arrived on the scene at around 2 p.m.
Boston University Police Department representatives were unavailable for comment yesterday.
