The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department Crime logs from Sept. 27-Oct. 1.
A caller reported male parties trying to lure females into an alley to buy Coach designer bags near 1055 Commonwealth Ave. at 8:23 p.m. Oct. 1. The male parties were gone when the BUPD arrived.
All the President’s (unwelcome) Men
President Robert Brown’s office reported an unwanted party inside the building on 1 Sherborn St. at 9:42 a.m. Sept. 27. Officers searched the area, but could not find the party.
Get a (practice) room
A caller reported a male party outside 170 Bay State Rd. singing and playing his guitar loudly at 2:21 a.m. Sept. 29. Officers warned the singer to stop crooning.
Flashing
Cars
A caller reported at 5:11 a.m. Sept. 29. a male party near Shelton Hall using a flashlight to look into vehicles. He then jumped into an awaiting sports car that sped off on Beacon Street. Officers reported they could not find the vehicle.
Respect Your
Elders
A caller was worried for the welfare of an elderly female party on Beacon and Mountfort streets at 6:22 p.m. Sept. 28. Officers responded and found the elderly woman was fine.
Get Out of
the Dugout
A caller from the Dugout Cafe reported a female patron being harassed by two male parties at 2:25 a.m. Sept. 30. The male parties refused to leave and were escorted out.
Part of a
delicious breakfast
A fire alarm went off in the basement of At 157 Bay State Rd. at 9:06 a.m. Sept. 27. Officers found burnt toast.
Homeless

The BUPD responded to a call from 645 Beacon St. at 10:08 p.m. Sept. 30 regarding an unconscious male party in a bathroom. The male party was determined to be a homeless person trying to sleep.
Misunderstanding
Threats
A caller at The Towers reported being followed by a suspicious party and being threatened at 2:42 a.m. Sept. 29. An officer said there was confusion between the caller and the “suspicious person” and the problem was resolved.

A caller reported two disruptive male parties at the corner of St. Mary’s and Buswell streets at 8:44 p.m. Oct. 1. The parties were gone when the BUPD arrived.
