Bring your own crafts to The Local Hand
Tuesday, Feb. 24, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., 1912 Dorchester Ave.
On Tuesday night, beginner crafters and professional artists alike can join together at The Local Hand for an open studio — a chance to dedicate time to creating. While there’s no formal instruction, optional prompts and staged scenes can be provided. The $10 entrance fee includes beverages, snacks and art supplies like paints and brushes. There is also a half-off discount for pizzas next door at Tavolo Ristorante.
Thursdays at 8 p.m., Tre Monte Restaurant & Bar
Every Thursday night, the North End’s Northern Italian Tre Monte Restaurant & Bar will host free stand-up in the establishment’s basement. Hosted by Boston comedy group “Laughaholics,” the show is free to attend with no tickets necessary.

This weekend, the city of Boston will host Ramadan Night Market, which is returning for its second year for two nights due to “high demand.” Completely free to attend, guests can shop from local vendors selling calligraphy, henna and halal food.
