Thousands swarmed Boston City Hall on Saturday to watch daredevils turn the building’s steps into a snow slope for Red Bull Heavy Metal Finals.

Street snowboarders from around the world vied for the title of Red Bull Heavy Metal 2026 champion and piece of the $30,000 prize purse. LJ Henriquez and Telma Särkipaju were named first overall after three “zones” of gravity-defying competition.
