BU Beach was transformed on Saturday in honor of the Hindu festival of colors, Holi, for one color-crazed afternoon.
In a celebration hosted annually by the Boston University Hindu Cultural Association, people lined up to receive cups of powdered pigments that they sprinkled, pelted, and smeared each other with. Many attendees, embracing their bodies as canvases, wore white clothes that were quickly covered in vibrant colors.
