In an article published in Thursday’s issue titled “Activists congregate to promote world peace,” the author incorrectly paraphrased Penny Joy Snider-Light, a peace Representative at the World Peace Prayer Society. In addition, the author incorrectly wrote that Snider-Light has been a member of the NGO-affiliate of UN since her time at Simmons College. However, Snider-Light has in fact been a representative of the NGO-affiliate of UN since 1999. The online version of the article has been updated to remove Snider-Light’s paraphrased comments.
