Overall, the efforts BU has made on GivingTuesday should still be recognized. But, the administration should remember that in order for its fundraising to make a genuine impact, it first and foremost needs to demonstrate transparency and accountability.

Whether he is climbing into the stands at a Boston University hockey game or parading around the George Sherman Union, Rhett the Terrier is an unmistakable figure on Commonwealth Avenue. Chances are, you have exchanged a hug or a high-five with him at some point.

SG discusses allocation of its $15,000 Cabinet budget

Boston University’s Student Government noted in last Monday’s meeting that roughly $15,000 of their remaining budget of $21,257.41 is reserved for Cabinet events. The funding of these events is meant to foster a greater sense of community on campus and empower student groups to fulfill their missions.
