Growth and stuff | Maia’s Inner Monologue

Maia Penzer April 23, 2024
Dear readers, Despite my outgoing and goofy personality around close friends and family, I often found myself conforming to societal norms around anyone else, dimming down what made me genuinely me — a classic case of teenage nonsense. Since stepping foot on campus in Boston, I've felt a profound shift. Breaking free: Rediscovering self love beyond men

Breanna Pham April 22, 2024
The constant need for validation became an addiction, leaving me perpetually unsatisfied and always wanting more. I found myself seeking approval from men to the extent of it affecting my emotional well-being. Michelle Grullon September 14, 2023
When I got accepted into BU, I expected that feeling to continue and perhaps transform into something new and more powerful. Surprisingly though, I was wrong and have had the privilege of feeling so welcomed and accepted by all the people I have met.

OP-ED: The Mapping Project being awful notwithstanding, Zionism is still a colonial project

Guest Writer March 15, 2023
Yonaton Manor was correct that the Mapping Project is antisemitic. But as the criticisms of the project linked above indicate, this is not specifically because of the Mapping Project’s anti-Zionism. Rather, it is because the project blames Jewish community institutions for a range of social ills including general US imperialism, militarized policing and gentrification.
