Biden's strong pro-Israel stance on the most recent conflict, which stands in stark contrast with most of the rest of the world including the U.S.'s biggest rivals Russia and China, is reminiscent of the Cold War era proxy-wars and could even threaten the beginning of World War III.
In an era where the dominant message was to fall in line, a children’s TV series delivered a strikingly nuanced and subtle criticism. This show is nothing short of astounding.
First and foremost, a clear distinction needs to be made between patriotism and nationalism. Although similar, patriotism is related more to a sense of love and devotion for one’s country, while nationalism refers to a pride that one has in the superiority of their country.
