Campus Crime Logs: Sisterhood of the stolen pants

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from Nov. 5 to Nov. 12.

A female reported that her blue jeans were stolen from the washing machines at 10 Buick St. on Nov. 6 at 6:00 p.m. She told police she left the jeans in the machine for 10 minutes past washing time, and when she came to retrieve them, they were gone.

Assault

Around 8:00 p.m. on Nov. 6, a female BU student reported a male pushed her down as she was walking along Ashford Street. After pushing her onto a set of stairs, he lifted up her skirt and photographed her, then fled the scene. Police report this was the third or fourth incident in the Ashford area since September. No suspects are in custody.

T Thieves

On Thursday at 273 Babcock St., a female BU student reported she had been pickpocketed while riding the Green Line on the T. The student reported that her iPhone was taken at about 7 p.m. while she was riding the B line. Her phone has not yet been found.

A-salt and butter-y

Around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, a former employee of BU Dinning Services who had been terminated returned to the dining offices at 775 Commonwealth Ave. and assaulted the manager. BUPD is investigating and the employee will likely be charged with assault.

Schmoozers

A female BU student reported Monday at noon that she had been robbed at around 2 a.m. Sunday. The student was at 48 Brighton Ave. when two males casually struck up a conversation and robbed her.

They tried to steal her iPhone, and while she was grabbing it back from one male, the other male stole her wallet and took $40 cash from it. The empty wallet was thrown back to her. Shortly after the robbery, the two males joined three other males and left the area. Police are still investigating.
