A stabbing occurred near the Boston University Medical Campus at approximately 9:15 p.m., according to the BU Police Department.
The stabbing was reported at approximately 9:30 p.m. and there is a heavy police presence in the area while they search for a suspect, according to BUPD. Boston Police is investigating and BUPD will remain in the area until further notice.
The suspect was described as a male with a dark complexion wearing an orange backpack at the time of the stabbing, according to BUPD. He fled away from the Medical Campus on a bicycle.
