The Boston Ujima Project kicked off its 2021 Citywide Assembly, “We Be Knowin’: A Boston Ujima Project Celebration of Everyday Democracy” Sunday — a series of cultural events and collective community planning designed to honor local communities.
The campaign will feature minority-owned businesses and organizations, as well as advertise Boston’s arts and entertainment sectors to help the local economy recover from the pandemic.
Forge Design Studios, which launched last Fall, has brought learning resources and a cohesive design community to BU since its foundation. The group rebranded itself this Spring to help students of all backgrounds begin working with real clients and create design work for their portfolios.
