‘It really is disappointing.’ BU’s summer journalism high school program canceled, again

Boston University’s Summer Journalism Academy program has been canceled for the summer of 2026 due to a lack of profitability, said the program’s former director, Burton Glass. This is the second consecutive year the program has been cancelled. The program provided high school students with the opportunity to live on campus for three weeks and learn journalistic skills from BU professors.

COM, Alumni Association hosts sports anti-racism discussion

The Boston University College of Communication hosted “Sports and the Work of Antiracism" on Wednesday. The discussion featured BU women's basketball coach Marisa Moseley, ESPN senior vice president and editor-in-chief of “The Undefeated” and BU alumnus, Kevin Merida and BU lecturer A. Sherrod Blakely.
