Every day between 3000 and 5000 people swipe into the Boston University Fitness and Recreation Center. Although the building is notorious for being BU’s on-campus gym for students, patrons range anywhere from 1-year-old to in their late 90s. But alongside gym-goers, FitRec is also home to around 600 student employees who greet people at the front desk, perform maintenance on gym equipment and keep watch at the pool.
