More often than not, you may truly not deserve the hardships you are facing. You may be an almost-perfect person, one who has navigated a situation as carefully as possible. Perhaps you have lived a lifetime of treating others with respect and displaying all the characteristics of a genuine friend and human being. The encouragement that you do not deserve what is happening to you can be used as a coping mechanism, a device to keep you moving forward. It’s a way to assure yourself that whoever has wronged you will also get their own form of karma in return — as it is what they deserve for the harmful decisions they have made.
