BU plans to move senior week online

BU’s annual senior week is set to move online this year. The choice to preserve the tradition comes at a time when campus stands nearly vacant amid the coronavirus pandemic.

BU community competes for old HTC space

The future of the current Howard Thurman Center space is up in the air as the HTC Space Repurposing Committee analyzes 11 proposals regarding how to use the space once the HTC officially moves to 808 Commonwealth Ave.

SG senators launch proposal to provide free menstrual products

Two Student Government senators are spearheading an effort to install free menstrual product dispensers in every bathroom of the main College of Arts and Sciences building, with the eventual hope of placing at least one such dispenser in every building on campus.

BU to implement mandatory online sexual misconduct education course

The rise of sexual misconduct accusations in recent months, especially within entertainment and higher education, has prompted calls for reform and heightened awareness among these institutions. On Wednesday, Boston University Provost Jean Morrison announced that all BU students, faculty and staff will be required to take an online sexual misconduct education course starting next fall.
