Parking in Boston could be more expensive come July

Boston Mayor Martin Walsh plans to raise prices for metered street parking in neighborhoods across the city, an effort to ease congestion and make parking easier while also raising some $5 million in revenue for Boston’s transportation network.

MBTA reaches multi-year agreement for implementation of AFC 2.0

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority has reached a multi-year agreement on their Automated Fare Collection system. The new cashless system is designed to increase speed along the green line through convenient payment options, all-door boarding, tap-on payment for all vehicles and increased accessibility.
