Report finds MBTA cuts are unnecessary

The MBTA’s Forging Ahead initiative produced reduced frequency on the subway, bus and Commuter Rail as early as spring 2021. Service would end after midnight for the subway and bus and after 9 p.m. for the Commuter Rail. Ferry service would be fully suspended.

MBTA hosts public meeting regarding fair hike

The MBTA hosted a public meeting to discuss proposed fare hikes Wednesday at the State Transportation Building in downtown, drawing a crowd of more than 100 people that included elected officials, community activists and residents.
