Don't Kick in Doors Over Spilt Milk
Police saw a man run from a 7-Eleven between Boylston and Dartmouth Street at about 12:41 a.m. Tuesday. Employees of the store said that the man entered the store with a half-drunk gallon of milk. The suspect told employees that the milk was bad and that he wanted his money back. The employees claimed that their store did not carry the brand of milk that the man was carrying. Grand Joke Auto
Early Saturday morning, at about 2:07 a.m., police noticed a man on Causeway Street crouch down and walk to a parked vehicle. The police saw the man open the car door and look at the center console. As the police approached the suspect, another man approached the car and shouted that the car was his mother's. The suspect got out of the car and said that he was "joking" and did not intend to steal the car. The police then arrested the man. On the way to the station the suspect said, "I can't wait. Boston judges are lenient, I will only get five minutes or community service."
Taxi Take Down
On Tuesday at about 1:50 a.m., officers responded to a call from a cab driver who was downtown between Park and Tremont Streets. The cab driver reported that he was stopped at a red light behind a black pickup truck. When the light turned green and the truck did not move, the cab driver honked his horn. Instead of moving, the driver got out of his vehicle and began to punch and kick the cab, shattering the front passenger window. The man then got back into his truck and drove away. The police located the suspect in the pickup truck parked nearby. When the cab driver positively identified the suspect the police took the man into custody.
