Campus Crime Logs: Oct. 20-26

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department’s crime logs from Oct. 20 to Oct. 25.

Hit and run at Carlton Street Bridge

At 4:10 p.m. on Oct. 20, a vehicle was struck in a possible hit-and-run. Boston Police Department was notified.

Assist other police agency at Commonwealth Avenue and Harvard Avenue

At 4:11 p.m. on Oct. 21, BPD requested assistance from BUPD regarding “a large fight.”

Narcotic investigation at 855 Commonwealth Ave.

At 7:41 p.m. on Oct. 21, a caller reported two parties possibly using narcotics in front of the College of Fine Arts. Both parties refused services. BU Facilities Management and Operations was contacted to clean up discarded belongings. A unit reported two disposed syringes.

Suspicious person at 801 Massachusetts Ave.

At 12:45 a.m. on Oct. 22, BUPD received public safety calls regarding a party who was suspected to have vandalized a vehicle in a BU garage. A unit stated that the party had trespassed. 

Fugitive from justice on court warrant, attempt to commit crime and drug possession at 575 Commonwealth Ave.

Between 12:33 a.m. and 1:11 a.m. on Oct 23, a caller reported a party taking parts off a locked-up bicycle. Emergency Medical Services reported to the scene. An arrest was made.

Prisoner watch at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center and 255 Washington St.

At 1:18 a.m. on Oct. 23, Boston EMS transported one prisoner from the station to the hospital.

Harassment at 700 Commonwealth Ave.

At 10:52 p.m. on Oct. 23, a male, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a dark ponytail, was harassing students in front of Warren Towers.

Dangerous weapon on school grounds, breaking and entering and stolen prop at 154 Bay State Road

At 1:00 a.m. on Oct. 24, a unit was sent to the location and observed the basement lights were off. Officers did a building check. An arrest was made. 

Assault and battery at 915 Commonwealth Ave.

Between 5 p.m. and 5:20 p.m. on Oct. 25, an individual stated that a party put them in a headlock position while playing baseball. 

Medical at 522 Park Drive

At 7:59 p.m. on Oct. 25, a caller reported that their friend overdosed. The parties had ingested edibles and smoked marijuana. EMS was notified and arrived on scene.

Suspicious person at 915 Commonwealth Ave.

At 8:59 p.m. on Oct. 25, a caller reported an older white male wearing a gray hoodie attempting to light a female party’s hair on fire.

Assist BU department at 9 Holton St. 

Between 11:12 p.m. on Oct. 25 and 1:18 a.m. on Oct. 26, Boston Fire Department reported a fire at a residential building that left three parties displaced.
