Lost? So are we. The final chapter to one of the most talked-about sci-fi epics is finally here and eager viewers have tuned in to see how it all ends. The show’s premiere left millions with questions, continuing the five-season confusion streak. This week’s part three was similar, adding new layers of intrigue to an already confusing chain of events.
As the plot thickens, some things never change. Sincere quiet moments are still coupled with the occasional cheeky quip from Miles. People are dying and coming back to life left and right, Jack still thinks he’s Superman, and Kate didn’t listen…again. These classic moments are threads that link confusion, intrigue and even heartbreak, making Lost the quintessential must-see show of the season.
But not everyone follows, so it’s still exciting to find a fellow watcher and swap theories. Not everyone gets a thrill out of reading Lost wiki pages, and fewer still are the proud watchers who started with season one without missing a beat. But it seems many people are catching on for this last season. As if relieved to know there is eventually an answer (which in reality is not necessarily the case with a show like this) people are catching up on the seasons they missed to tune in for the conclusion.
One thing is for sure: people are watching. Nielsen Ratings has reported strong numbers for the show two weeks running and it seems the move to Tuesday nights from it’s previous Wednesday spot has yet to make a dent in the ratings.
So this Tuesday, pull up a seat, turn on the TV and check out the show that’s guaranteed to confuse you at least twice in one hour. If feel like being really clueless, please refer to the game rules below to better impair your judgment.
