In an article published in the Oct. 4 print edition and online, titled “Splash re-opened after temporary closing,” one Boston University student who had attended Splash was misquoted as saying: “Every time I’d been there, there was space and places you could go to get to the stage.” There is in fact no “stage” at Splash and this was not what the student said.
Additionally, the student’s college was incorrectly attributed as the College of Arts and Sciences, while the student was actually in the College of Communication. Because of the misquote and also to avoid any further confusion, the student’s quotes in the story were removed online.
