Academic planning is a major challenge

By Faizaan Ayub November 13, 2023
As a freshman, I’ve been told that I have a whole four years to decide my academic and career paths. I know that I will have to settle for only one or two of my interests in the end. I entered BU with 32 AP credits. I thought this would give me an edge over my peers, potentially allowing me to graduate early. This was far from the truth.

Reflections on traveling home for the holidays: it’s not as easy as it seems

By Samantha Marshall November 13, 2023
With the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and school break, I’ve found myself in much need of a break from school, but mildly stressed about how to travel 400 miles home for this shorter break. By Anna Albrecht, Arts & Community Editor November 12, 2023
When our lives are so entrenched in our phones, it can be overwhelming to pull them out even for a second to take a picture. With a compact and convenient device — additionally providing a vintage, polished aesthetic that an iPhone camera lacks — digital cameras are, ironically, a moment of solace in the digital age.

‘Nerdy Prudes Must Die!’ is StarKid’s newest horror-comedy masterpiece | You Had Me At ‘It’s Gay’

By Kal Hawley November 12, 2023
“Nerdy Prudes Must Die” is just as outspoken and hilarious as its name suggests. It’s the fifth installment of the Hatchetfield series from StarKid Productions. Like its predecessors, it’s a horror-comedy musical set in the fictional town of Hatchetfield, except this time it’s a parody of 90s’ teen-slashers, complete with the high school stereotypes and questionable horniness.
