Campus Crime Logs: Oct. 6-12

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department’s crime logs from Oct. 6 to Oct. 12. 

Suspicious person at 175 Bay State Road

At 12:56 a.m. on Oct. 6, a caller reported hearing tugging on the doorknob of the above address.

Intoxicated party at 665 Commonwealth Ave.

At 4:32 a.m. on Oct. 6, a caller reported a possible drunk male. Armstrong EMS was en route to the scene. The unit stated that a non-affiliate to the party refused medical attention. 

Larceny under $1200 at 665 Commonwealth Ave.

At 3:34 p.m. on Oct. 6, a caller reported their laptop to be stolen between the hours of 4 p.m. on Oct. 3 and 10 a.m. on Oct. 4. 

Medical: Serious at 808 Commonwealth Ave.

At 10:26 p.m. on Oct. 7, a party reported a finger laceration. Armstrong Ambulance was notified and was on the scene. 

Elevator entrapment at 700 Commonwealth Ave.

At 12:29 a.m. on Oct. 8, a caller reported being trapped on the 5th floor and that the emergency button was not operating. BU Facilities Management & Operations were notified, and the Boston Fire Department arrived on the scene. 

Assault and battery at 808 Commonwealth Ave.

At 5:07 p.m. on Oct. 8, police units were flagged down at the BU Bridge by a party with a cut on their hand. The party states they were a victim of a past assault and battery that occurred in the encampment under the bridge. The Massachusetts State Police arrived on the scene and currently has one person in custody. 

Threat of stabbing at 1065 Commonwealth Ave.

At 11:12 a.m. on Oct. 9, a BUPD officer was approached by a party stating a person threatened to stab someone in Star Market. The weapon is unknown. BPD was notified, and another officer went with the party.

Continued harassment at 881 Commonwealth Ave.

At 11:40 a.m. on Oct. 9, a party reported receiving a piece of mail from an unknown person. The party has reported several incidents of pieces of mail from this person, first documented on Oct. 4. 

Motor vehicle accident at 808 Commonwealth Ave.

At 10:32 a.m. on Oct. 11, a caller reported a hit-and-run accident. The caller sustained injuries, and the car was damaged. The BFD and MSP both responded to the scene. 

Harassment at 162 Riverway

At 2:07 p.m. on Oct. 11, a BU Facilities worker reported that an individual harassed him while trying to get into a building to deliver flowers.
