A/B CRIME LOG: Brighton Man Arrested For Party, Drug Posession

The following reports were taken from last week’s Allston-Brighton District 14 crime logs.

Three male suspects were arrested Jan. 10 at a party at 1284 Commonwealth Ave. for disturbing the peace and drug possession.

Noah Farr, 18, who lived where the party took place, was charged with keeping a disorderly house, procuring alcohol for minors, possession of alcohol by a minor and disturbing the peace.

Farr allegedly hosted the party. Police seized a plastic bag reportedly filled with marijuana, as well as a tapped keg of Moosehead beer and two separate marijuana pipes, one of which police said was still warm.

Ross McGee, 19, of 1012 Turnpike Rd., Norwich, Vt., was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and for disturbing the peace. At that time, McGee allegedly threw a plastic bag filled with marijuana underneath a bed.

Michael O’Donnell, 19, of 39 Rayton Rd., Hanover, Vt., was arrested for disturbing the peace.

In addition to the two pipes, the plastic bag and the keg, police also seized a small scale, commonly used for weighing drugs.

ARMED ROBBERY

A man allegedly robbed the Quality Mart at 160 North Beacon St. in Brighton at 8:55 p.m. on Jan. 11.

The man, described to be about 30 years old, allegedly took $1,200 from the register and $12 from a customer.

The suspect allegedly pulled out a black handgun upon entering the store and forced both store clerks behind the counter. He then turned to leave and allegedly took $12 from a Quality Mart customer.

The suspect allegedly threatened to shoot the clerk if he followed the suspect out the door.

BREAKING AND ENTERING

Two suspects entered a 51 Leicester St. apartment complex on the morning of Jan. 11 and ransacked two apartments, according to police incident reports.

Two large glass jars that allegedly had held coins were found emptied in the downstairs apartment.

Descriptions of the alleged perpetrators were taken from a man living across the street. The man noticed the two suspects allegedly leaving the apartment complex and entering a gray Pontiac Grand Prix.

The man told police he found the scene suspicious and wrote down a description of the alleged suspects and the automobile.

The car was found to be registered to Enterprise Auto Rental.

FRAUD

A woman was arrested for fraud at 1515 Commonwealth Ave. on Tuesday, Jan. 15.

Amanda Anderson, 23, of 1 Schroeder Plaza Boston, allegedly had obtained Massachusetts identification under three names other than her own. Her various forms of ID were attributed to the names Diane Palmer, Sarah Jenko and Rosemarie Donovan.

The case is part of an ongoing investigation by the Boston Police Department Major Case unit and the FBI.
