The following reports were taken from the Allston-Brighton District 14 weekly crime logs.
Police arrested a man for allegedly distributing cocaine within 1,000 feet of the Driscoll Elementary School Wednesday.
Upon arriving at the suspect’s residence at 15 Walbridge St. around 4:45 p.m., the suspect was reportedly seen exiting the property in a 1992 Honda Accord. In a warranted search of the house, police allegedly found approximately 30 grams of a white powder believed to be cocaine, personal papers in the suspect and accomplice’s names, papers for a 1992 Honda Accord, a total of about $300, several pagers and cell phones, nestle klim cutting agent, a strainer, two Marks-a-Lot markers, plastic bags, keys, a Massachusetts and a Rhode Island liquor ID, three passports and a blue jean jacket.
According to reports, a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s car was stopped at 301 Washington St. around 7:30 p.m. In addition to the findings in the house search, police reportedly found two hollowed-out Marks-a-Lot markers containing seven plastic bags of a white substance believed to be cocaine, an empty hollowed-out marker, a Massachusetts vehicle registration and keys to the vehicle.
Jesus Emilio Vanegas, 42, of Allston, and Dora Botera, 40, of Brighton, were arrested on charges of trafficking cocaine exceeding amounts of 14 grams.
TIME TO STEAL THE DOUGHNUTS
An unknown suspect reportedly robbed a Dunkin’ Donuts Wednesday around 10 p.m. at 2009 North Harvard St. in Allston.
According to reports, a man entered the store with a handgun and stole $497. Witnesses were unavailable to talk with the officers.
At another Dunkin’ Donuts at 214 North Beacon St. in Brighton, an unarmed man allegedly entered and ordered a cup of coffee from one of the workers. He reportedly reached into the cash register as the worker opened it to retrieve his change. The suspect allegedly fled from the premises in the direction of Cambridge Street with an unknown amount of money.
Police are still searching for the suspect.

A man was apprehended and arrested during a break-in at an apartment building at 27 Ashford St. in Allston Tuesday night around 9:16 p.m.
According to reports, the residents returned home to find the suspect in the hallway of their first floor apartment holding a backpack. When the suspect was questioned, he reportedly said, “Where is Jenny Brown?” and “I was following my friend here.”
As the victims approached the suspect and an unknown nearby male, the suspects allegedly fled out the front door. The victims reportedly caught the suspect with the backpack and retrieved a bottle of Smirnoff vodka and a cell phone, both belonging to the victims.
Police arrived at the scene and arrested Nicholas B. Vera, 21, of 604 Union Ave. in Framingham. A silver colored Edison watch and silver colored chain were both found in the police cruiser and returned to the victims. Still missing is a wallet containing credit cards, about $30, a New Jersey driver’s license and a student ID.

THE EASY WAY
Police are still searching for two men who robbed a woman walking on Commonwealth Avenue from Star Market Saturday.
The first suspect pushed the victim into a wall from behind as the second suspect grabbed her groceries and purse, fleeing down Commonwealth Avenue. In a struggle, the suspect pulled the victims hair and threw her to the ground.
The victim suffered minor injuries and lost an $800 dental plate from her mouth. The identity of the suspects is unknown.
SET PHASERS TO STUN
A Brighton High School Student was arrested for drug possession and possession of a deadly weapon Tuesday, April 10 at Brighton High.
According to reports, police officers approached the previously expelled suspect at the entrance to the Brighton High driveway to inquire as to why he was on school property. The suspect, standing with two other males, allegedly attempted to pass off his stun gun.
Officers searched the suspect’s nearby vehicle and reportedly found five plastic bags of a green vegetation believed to be marijuana.
Police transported the 17-year-old suspect to District 14 for booking and towed his car.
SHOUT, SHOUT,
LET IT ALL OUT
A drunken man was arrested Thursday morning at 1:20 a.m. for disorderly conduct and threats.
The suspect allegedly became involved in a shouting match with employees at Our House Bar at 1277 Commonwealth Ave. when police arrived at the scene.
Restrained by friends, the suspect reportedly shouted threats at the manager, despite requests to leave the property. The suspect allegedly screamed obscenities at the manager and promised to return. According to reports, the manager informed the suspect that he is no longer allowed entrance to the bar.
After several unsuccessful attempts to escort him off the premises, police arrested Andre Jackson, 29, of 1295 Commonwealth Ave.
OLD HABITS DIE HARD
Police issued a licensed premise violation to the Paradise Club at 969 Commonwealth Ave. for serving alcoholic beverages to underage patrons and for allowing underage patrons to drink alcohol on the premises.
