Your dorm is your home for the year, and you should be able to make it feel like a home — even if that means having difficult conversations about floor space, an obnoxious amount of posters or even a few too many Squishmallows.
Student residents at 726 Commonwealth Ave. raised concerns about possible asbestos after noticing a warning sign, and the University Environmental Health and Safety division tested possible materials and reported them as non-asbestos containing.
Protestors gathered outside George Sherman Union in support of resident assistants Feb 8. Speakers shared their experiences being resident assistants and how they’ve been mistreated.
BU didn’t fail this semester just because we have demands — we are calling on the school to do better despite its achievements. The University’s successes cannot be the sole model for the state’s actions. Take our lead, but learn from our mistakes.
