During an election year, newspapers' opinion pages usually endorse presidential candidates. Usually. However, during this election, more news organizations than ever are opting-out of an official endorsement.
Since 2018, Engineers Without Borders, EWB, has partnered with the Ogiek people of Tinet, Kenya on a mission to provide clean and accessible drinking water. This year, EBW’s aims to raise around $8,000 for travel costs, and $20,000 to implement the borehole project in Tinet this summer.
What intrigued me about “The Magnus Archives” was not the supernatural tales themselves — although those were so wonderfully written that even an anti-horror enthusiast like myself could enjoy them — but rather, the wonderful cast of intriguing characters that you meet.

Boston City Council announced a proposal on Wednesday that would recognize October as Italian-American month in Boston. The proposal was introduced by city councilor Gabriela Coletta and accepted by City Council during their weekly meeting.
