Because of apparent racial biases, musicians have taken to social media to call out the Recording Academy’s decisions. One of the most well-known manifestations of this is in the career of Kendrick Lamar.
Through this series, I hope to add some of the songs I love into playlists, but my main goal is to offer a perspective into why I love a song and why I hope other people can love it too.
