My number one fan

Lauren Albano March 20, 2025
I made a few saves, and my dad came over to me, raving that he was proud of my first performance and reassuring that missed saves were not solely my fault — it was a team effort. I played goalie for a few more games and soon fell in love with the position.

There’s no place like home

Keira Footer February 26, 2025
I’m worried that something similar might happen when I return from college. Innovate@BU announces community transit design winner, plan to increase transportation accessibility

Yiran Yu February 2, 2021
Public transportation may be the engine of the city of Boston, but that doesn’t mean it works for everyone. Innovate@BU recently co-hosted a venture competition with the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired where students and alumni crafted creative solutions to make the city's transportation more accessible.

Hot Take: The problem with trigger warnings

Matthew Drulias October 25, 2017

In one of my English classes, we went to see a play together as a class. Two days before the showing, I received an email in which our professor provided a trigger warning for “explicit homosexuality,...
