The Boston University men’s soccer team visited Loyola University Maryland Saturday afternoon for a 2-2 draw, riding on a positive start to conference play and sharing points with a tough side.

Coming off its first win of the season in a conference matchup against Army West Point, the Boston University men’s soccer team traveled to face Brown University in Rhode Island on Tuesday. The Terriers recorded their second defeat of the season –– a 5-1 loss and the worst goal differential since a 0-4 loss against Colgate University in November 2017.
Though the Boston University women’s soccer team (7-7-6, 4-3-2 Patriot League) fell 3-1 to Bucknell University (12-3-5, 5-1-3 P L) in the Patriot League Semifinals, the Terriers had a notable 29th season. With a nearly even number of wins, losses and ties, 2023 saw exciting games if not unabashed success.
Having already clinched a spot in the Patriot League Tournament with last week’s win at Bucknell University, the Boston University men’s soccer team replaced Loyola University Maryland at the top of the league table with one game left in the regular season after defeating them 3-1 on Saturday.
In a rainy clash between two of the top three teams in the Patriot League, the Boston University men’s soccer team saw its undefeated streak against in-conference competition snapped in a 2-0 loss at Lafayette College on Saturday.
The Boston University men’s soccer team was commanding in their home contest against the United States Naval Academy on Saturday afternoon, winning 4-1 to continue their season-long unbeaten streak at Nickerson Field.

The Boston University women’s soccer team (3-4-2, 0-1-0 Patriot League) dropped their first chance for in-conference points during Saturday’s home game against Loyola University Maryland (6-2-0, 1-0-0 PL), losing by a final score of 1-0.
