While procrastinating for an exam one night, now seniors Rafaele DiMaggio and Axel Bautista-Tienda theorized that they could make money from selling grilled cheeses on Pratt Street, an area known for its fraternity presence.
DiMaggio and Bautista-Tienda decided to bring a modified version of that idea to life for Marathon Monday 2024 by selling grilled cheese and pizza out of the Gardner Court Apartments — locally known as “G-Court.”
The Boston Police Department and Micozzi Management announced Wednesday only current lessees will be allowed access to the Gardner Court Apartments building and courtyard April 21, in anticipation of Marathon Monday celebrations.

I’m not a fan of shortening words for just for the sake of speaking less. MarMon sounds less like Marathon Monday and more like a word for a female Mormon. Is it really that hard to say Marathon Monday? Is your life actually better from the 0.53 seconds you saved from shortening the word?
