Fresh off a three-goal performance against Brown University and three weekly awards, the Boston University men’s soccer team fell 1-0 to Army West Point in their first Patriot League test this season.
The No. 2 Boston University Terriers softball team (39-19, 14-4 Patriot League) defeated the No. 1 Army West Point Black Knights (35-22, 16-2 PL) on May 11 to clinch its third consecutive and eighth overall Patriot League tournament championship.
The Patriot League men’s lacrosse playoffs began May 2 with the Boston University Terriers (11-5, 6-2 Patriot League) beating the Lafayette College Leopards (10-6, 5-3 PL) 12-10 in the semifinal.
During a snowy gameday in upstate New York, the Boston University women’s lacrosse team lost their fourth consecutive game to the Colgate Raiders, 14-10.
For the Boston University softball team, the 2025 season is a special one. Not only do they stand undefeated at the top of the Patriot League standings as of April 3, they’re favorites to take the regular season title for a seventh year in a row, all while the leader and mentor that guided them to these results reaches a significant career milestone.
