Three American League East teams stared each other down in the 2025 MLB postseason. After dispatching the Boston Red Sox, the New York Yankees advanced to a Division Series matchup with the division-winning Toronto Blue Jays. Baseball is at its best when rivals play to win or go home. And with such high stakes, players in those rivalries, especially rookies, are put to baseball’s ultimate test.

When the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in March 2020, Noodle Street Manager Chris Chan started sewing face masks for his employees out of his own cut-up clothes.
Noodle Street, located on Boston University’s East Campus, had been serving customers for over two decades until the pandemic forced it to close for six months. It joined the 44% of Massachusetts small businesses in the area that closed amidst strict lockdown policies.
And so I remain fervently infatuated with the Council for Fashion Designers of America’s official Fashion Week and deeply enchanted by its mystique. I guess you can say it’s a bit of a toxic romance — one-sided, with one party granting the other not even a minute of their time.

In July, I will be leaving my hometown of Boston and going to New York City. I am excited for the move for many reasons: living with my best friend Bridget, bagels and bottomless brunches. However, springtime in Boston has begun and it has started to pull at my heart strings — and for one reason in particular. I am going to miss Fenway Park.
