It sucks saying goodbye to your favorite pair of jeans. It sucks saying bye to someone you used to love. But at the end of the day, it’s not a fit — and that’s okay.
Antisemitic stickers were spotted on Boston University’s campus along Commonwealth Avenue this week as students returned from Thanksgiving break. The stickers appeared approximately two months after they first appeared at Harvard University in October, according to the Harvard Crimson.
Thanksgiving football did not disappoint this year, despite seemingly uncompetitive matchups. Only two of the six teams in Thursday’s slate had winning records, setting up underwhelming expectations for the day’s games.
Scents are often nostalgic, which can sometimes prove to be overpowering. The emotional triggers in scents are unconsciously formed –– whether we connect them to a person, a moment, a feeling or an image.

You might assume the people walking around campus when the majority are home stayed in Boston because of travel issues or the unwillingness to spend upwards of $100 for a trip that lasts less than a week. But no one considers the small group that just doesn’t want to go home or doesn’t even have a home to return to.
Although “Thanksgiving” meets the quota of what a holiday slasher should do, it’s a bit frustrating that it has no aspirations to carve a fresher take from the bones of its subgenre –– sacrificing characterization for carnage and proving that a great idea doesn’t always translate to a great feature-length film.
With the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and school break, I’ve found myself in much need of a break from school, but mildly stressed about how to travel 400 miles home for this shorter break. While I can make it home in a day, it poses a bit of a challenge trying to coordinate how exactly I will get home. And for some of my friends who live even farther away, the short break means it would be impossible to go home due to distance and coordinating travel plans.
I do love Christmas, but I am happy to hold off on singing, “Santa Baby” for a bit longer in order to have some Thanksgiving fun. Because Thanksgiving is so much fun! You get to make people go around the table and thank you for a bunch of things! What other day can you do that?
